Hi'ya Tootz

Hi'ya,

Tootz, was the nickname my father called me until the day he died.  He always said, "Hi'ya Tootz". In 1961 the year I was born he gave my mother the sewing machine I use today.  My mother gave it to me years ago. 

My love for sewing began when I was young and has never left me.  There isn't anything I haven't made. A favorite challenge is to dismantle clothes and reassemble it into something new and different.

I have wanted to make this skirt for years. Finally, I had time. With a pair of jeans and fabric I never used, I made the first skirt.  Every time I wear it someone will ask, "where did you buy it?"

Women wear my skirts and say, "I feel so good."  As it should be...
